Video Describing Round 2 Information for Healthcare Providers
The MED Group has put together a short presentation describing proposed Round 2 of Medicare Competitive Bidding. Please feel free to post this on your website or send to healthcare providers you know of who might be affected by this going forward. To view the the video click here.
Recommend to your staff and healthcare providers to send a letter to their Representative in support of HR 1041 which will repeal Round 1 of Competitive Bidding and stop Round 2 of Competitive Bidding from launching. This is a simple and quick process that takes less than 30 seconds if they go to http://capitol.medgroup.com and complete the steps to send an email to their Representative.

PAOC Wants CMS to Provide More Bidding Data-provided by our friends at AAHomecare
In an effort to seek greater transparency from CMS, 12 Program Advisory and Oversight Committee (PAOC) members signed a joint letter (sent via email) to CMS seeking additional data on the Medicare competitive bidding program. This emailed letter is part of a continued effort by the congressionally mandated panel to determine the adverse impact the CMS bidding program is having on Medicare beneficiaries and suppliers.
The PAOC believes the data requested should be easily accessible with the extensive tracking system CMS describes and asks for the information no later than May 31. AAHomecare’s Walter Gorski, vice president of government affairs, is a PAOC member and signatory on the letter. Read the full text of the email.
